Here you can browse vintage and retro clothing, furniture and homeware. Find them in the town’s Old Steam Bakery hidden up a little alleyway next to the old Post Office at the top of town. They also stock a large variety of locally grown garden plants.

Murdoch House*

Murdoch House was the home of William Murdoch – one of the most innovative inventors and engineers in history. Nowadays, Murdoch House is available for community events and gatherings and also houses the Cornish Global Migration Programme.

The Redruth Drapery*
4 West End, Redruth TR15 2RZ
Once part of a Cornish Department store, a bustling commercial centre during Redruth’s industrial hey-day, the building, with its striking frontage, grand proportions and original features, was brought back to life in 2018 by husband and wife team Stephen and Rachael. The Drapery now provides an inspiring space for pop-up food events, live music, workshops, corporate functions, talks and learning experiences.

*Although the Art Room, Murdoch House and the Redruth Drapery are not open to the public regularly, they are hosting events as part of Retell Retail, organised by Redruth Chamber of Commerce, coinciding with the Flamm weekend. Keep your eyes out for more info when you are in town!
