For Flamm, Lowry is imagining how the future of Redruth might look if it appropriated Rapid Transport systems that exist and are being developed in cities and large urban conurbations around the country. He is exploring utilising some of the existing, old mining network to create connectivity between Redruth and Camborne, and referencing the route of the electric tramway that existed between 1902 and 1934.
