2026 Highlights
What a weekend! We hope you enjoyed Flamm 2026 and what Bodmin had to offer – with the help and support from the local communities, it exceeded our expectations.
Here are some early photos (by Nick Cooney) from the weekend – more will follow!
This is a fantastic event, exploring the beauty and history of Bodmin, showing local talent and involving the community. An inspirational and inclusive undertaking!

Varied, interesting and sometimes emotional. Lovely people and clearly a lot of very hard work by all involved. It was lovely to see Bodmin busy and felt more vibrant and people engaged with the town.

The organisation and accessibility was excellent, and it was great to see a town like Bodmin have the opportunity to hold such an event.

The enthusiasm from everyone was what made it for me – the railway volunteers were so so encouraging about the art, the museum people were really excited about their archives in the films, the artists in St Petrocs Church explained their work so carefully to my daughter.

Being part of Flamm gave the museum profile at a time when our building is closed to the public for repairs. It showed our stakeholders and the public that the museum is open to working in different and innovative ways. It demonstrated that the museum and Keep are part of Bodmin’s future as well as its past.
– Bodmin Keep
Flamm activates towns in Cornwall without leaving them high and dry – I felt many locals as well as art crowds came to see Flamm and explore.

The weekend had such a buzz! I was one of the stall holders at Bodmin Market on Saturday morning, and I ran out of stock by 11am!

Lovely atmosphere in the town. Warm welcome everywhere we went. Saw lots of friends and met new people.

Really enjoyable and interesting – I am the art lover but my husband (who is not!) and my daughter (age 5) also enjoyed the experience – but it worked for all of us.
