What a weekend! Redruth has been the perfect host for our pilot festival – with the help and support from the local communities, it exceeded our expectations.
Here are some photo highlights from the weekend, more will follow.

Flamm is a great idea, well executed and will have a lasting impact on me and all who experienced it. It reminds us there is more to a town than shopping and eating.
I loved the whole experience. Made me see Redruth with new eyes. Fantastic variety of work. Fun, inspiring, etc. A brilliant afternoon out.
I had only positive experiences. Over the weekend I experienced wonderful conversations with numerous people, artists and visitors. Patrick Lowry’s Red River Line was a huge talking point in town. Some of the best conversations were had here.
Really great selection of art work – the underground made everyone laugh and the Market Hall felt really lovely and full of life! Nice having activities for kids there too.
The singing workshop was beautiful, meditative and wonderful with a lovely group of people and led by a lovely inclusive leader who allowed us to feel safe and inspired at the same time.
The conversations and connections made were so rewarding. I spoke to some amazing people I otherwise would not have had the chance to. Even people who didn’t know it was happening and stumbled upon it seemed pleased to see the events happening and I saw children really enjoying making and painting rocks at Sovay Berriman’s exhibition.
It’s great to see Redruth in this way.
Great to see all the spaces in Redruth being brought to life and the same time and the buzz around the town, and some very interesting, moving artworks many of which were directly inspired by Redruth.
Flamm weekend! What a buzz, we enjoyed welcoming so many new visitors into the town that weekend. It is great to positively change perceptions of Redruth – as a town we need to capture the energy of these events and keep the momentum up, I can’t wait to see what the future holds. To use the RE mantra we are REnewing Redruth!

We really enjoyed being able to see a lot of work in one day but in a nice, relaxed and well paced way. It was great to not have to expend energy on travelling big distances between seeing stuff or spend lots of time in the car. We saw some great stuff.
What made the event great was the close proximity, not required to drive to different parts of the event, and the sign posting and way finding around the town. Quality of the artwork was exceptional too. I had never visited Redruth town centre, but because of Flamm I now will.
